Not bad. Could smell it a little. Got the job done ok. Nothing to rave about. Way overpriced at $6.99 for a 22 oz. Bomber.

Clear amber pour with no head. Ordinary aroma of malt. Unpleasant and out of style flavor of sour malt. The body is light with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Not good.

22 oz. bottle via trade with kokostephi - Pours a clear deep amber color with a one finger thick light tan head which faded pretty quick. Very light spotty lacing. Has a light toasted malt aroma and flavor. Thin palate. Light to medium body. I was hoping for more. Worth a try. Thanks Stephi.

Pours dark amber with a fully receding tan head. Aroma of bready caramel malt, toffee and a strange fruitiness. Taste is sweet caramel and caramelized wort. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied and slightly sticky with moderate carbonation. Good, but a bit dissapointing.

22oz bottle sampled in mid-May ’06: Pours a transparent copper mahogany with a thin ring of an off-white head. Aroma is toasty and caramely sweet with some musty earthy character and mild tartness. Body starts with a good, light caramel sweetness and more musty earthy light tartness. Fairly authentic, except for the tartness and earthy character.

Draught at the brew pub. Clear dark orange-red color. Head was off white and didn’t leave any lace behind. Smelled of molasses and brown sugar. Rich mosaic of flavors including apple, alcohol, molasses, and brown sugar. Tart apple finish.

Thanks to Willblake for sharing this one at the capt lawrence open house gatheirng this weekend. Pours a nice moslty clear dark brown with a thin off whtie head. Aroma was pretty nice- nutty and toasted malts, some caramel, and light chocolate hints and lightly yeasty. Flaovr though was lacking compared to the aroma- too sweet- artiificial, slick, toasty, sweet, chocolate, and buttery. Slick finish and mouthfeel is shortlived and bland with a light bitterness. Meh- it was ok.
