Bottle. Pours dark brown, with a tan head. Aroma is vanilla, caramel, chocolate, bourbon, and dark fruit. Flavor is bourbon, vanilla, dark fruit, end dry. A bit more sweetness and body would make this killer.

Bottle. pours dark with a tan head. chocolate, vanilla, milk. smooth creamy mouthfeel. not too bad. supposedly it is nutty as well.

Cette bière, de couleur noire-rougeâtre, se trouve à mi-chemin entre une english strong ale et une milk stout. Elle offre des arômes de vanille et de noix de coco. En bouche, elle est douce et moelleuse et offre, en finale, des saveurs prononcées de noix de coco, de vanille et d’alcool. Bonne bière complexe.

On tap at Coasters. Cola-like pour with virtually no head. Aroma of smoke, bourbon, dark fruit, and vanilla. Flavor is very interesting; some grape flavor upfront with hints of vanilla and oak on the finish. Virtually no alcohol taste present. An excellent beer. (I have had this in the bottle before and on tap several times. This is a completely different beer, and much better, on tap.)

The tastes combine to create a lasting impression though a smooth warming sensation. Very good beer.

22 oz. Bottle pour.very sweet aroma with hints of oak and whiskey.Pours a dark and hazy brownish/red color with a decent beige head.Flavor was sweet,chocolate and sweet malt with some vanilla and oak and whiskey hints.Well balanced taste and warms nicely as it goes down from the bourbon.Great beer.

22oz bottle after several other beers. Pours dark amber with a aroma of fruit and bourbon. Pretty good.
