Commercial Description:
Dragon’s Milk is a 17th century term used to describe the strong beer usually reserved for royalty. This strong ale was aged in oak for over 120 days. The aging process extracts flavors from the wood, which contribute to its complex character. Hints of bourbon flavor perfectly compliment its roasted malts to produce a beer fit for a King.

Bottle. Pours a black, clear color with a small, white head. Lacing is average. Aromas of chocolate, roasted malts, and a slight hint of wood. Lively carbonation to begin, then a slick finish. Tastes include chocolate and a hint of vanilla. Not what I expected, but not a bad beer either.

22 oz bottle another fine product from new Holland. chocolate flavor is pronounced and this beer is probably best on the warmer side then colder. Great balance of flavor and the 9% ABV is very well hidden.

Very dark, very smooth. The bourbon flavor is not overly evident, just a slight undertone. Went down very easy. Too easy. I could get into troble with this beer.

From a 22 oz bottle this poured very dark being almost black, with a small off-white head and light lacing. Nose of oak, chocolate and ripe fruit. Rich creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is complex with coffee, chocolate, rope plums, vanilla, and roasted malts. Long and slightly bitter finish. A very tasty and easy drinking dark beer.
