Commercial Description:
Dragon’s Milk is a 17th century term used to describe the strong beer usually reserved for royalty. This strong ale was aged in oak for over 120 days. The aging process extracts flavors from the wood, which contribute to its complex character. Hints of bourbon flavor perfectly compliment its roasted malts to produce a beer fit for a King.

I was expecting more from a beer with such a cool name. It pours a black oil color and smells of faint caramel and vanilla, but the taste is of a water down stout with a ton of alcohol on the palate. Pretty good though!

Bottle, pours a black with a light almost no tan head. Aroma is sweet and malty with dark roast. Taste is roast, but does not hold a full creamy mouthfeel. Decent, kinda weird.

Draught from Sugar Maple. Dark reddish-brown with medium tan head. Sweet aroma of butterscotch and caramel. Very sweet taste of more of the same, some roasted malts along the way. A little sticky but overall I liked this one.

This is good but could be great. The lack of carbonation really damages this beer. Lots of vanilla roast taste. Sweet. It looks like a flat Coke. :(

At first it had a strange doc pepper taste. sliky and smooth. not very oaky though. no head. and a kind of over powering sweetness. all and all...not bad

Was unsure what to expect from this beer, and it surprised me upon the pour for two reasons: 1) it was much darker than expected, and 2) it had almost no head. First had a few huge bubbles and then it kind of fizzed when coaxed, but disappointed by the carbonation. Nose of vanilla, oak, soy sauce, bitter chocolate. Taste added more malt and caramel to the flavors on the nose. A little cloyingly sweet at first but a lovely aftertaste, with more coffee/chocolate coming out. Would rate higher if not so sweet.

Heavy malt presence, and a thick, creamy mouthfeel. Strong vanilla undertones come through in the finish. A smooth, rich ale with a lingering pleasant flavor, The bourbon made its presence felt with a slight warming effect in the finish. It wasn’t as woody as I was hoping for but still quite enjoyable. I definitely recommend it.

Light hints of mocha and caramel form a nice malt backdrop, with a little bit of vanilla, oak, whiskey, and some fruit, like grapes and prunes. Big and forceful, but slightly off aftertaste.
