Commercial Description:
Dragon’s Milk is a 17th century term used to describe the strong beer usually reserved for royalty. This strong ale was aged in oak for over 120 days. The aging process extracts flavors from the wood, which contribute to its complex character. Hints of bourbon flavor perfectly compliment its roasted malts to produce a beer fit for a King.

A beautiful dark brew that boasts a full flavor, subtle flavors of vanilla and oak in the body. Drinks smooth all the way through, with a slightly swet aftertaste. Great beer.

bottle at Dickinsonbeer’s on 1/20/07. medium tan head, dark brown color. light brown at edges and cloudy. sour funky aroma, like a good lambic. maybe a little smoky too. flavor is tartish sweet malt, a little like a lambic and a little like a belgian dubbel. sourish finish.

On tap at Sheffield’s in Chicago. Dark brown with small head. Lots of vanilla and bourbon, but not overpowering at all. Loved it.

MI BG Winter Fest. Pours a dark, cloudy mahogony color with a thin tan colored head. Aroma is caramel, oak, sweet malts. Flavor of Leather, oak, tobacco, caramel, and mild bourbon. Palate is silky smooth, medium-full bodied, mildly carbonated, sweet finish. Really good stuff from a place I’m continually disappointed in.

(bottle - 22 oz) Dark mahogany color with not much foam. Aroma is a lot of butter, caramel, oak, and some chocolate malts. Flavor starts very smooth and malty with a nice buttery middle and a smooth and lightly sweet finish. One word describes this beer. Smooth. Finishes smoother than any beer I’ve ever run across.

A light body on this stout. It is a stout right? Hence, dragon milk stout... But anyway, very nice chocolate taste with a hint of cream, smooth medium body, must try!

22 oz bottle from Surdyks in Minneapolis. Leather, oak, tobacco, caramel, and a mild bourbon finish that lingers for awhile. A very nice, drinkable brew. Cross b/t an English BW and an imp. stout.
