Commercial Description:
Dragon’s Milk is a 17th century term used to describe the strong beer usually reserved for royalty. This strong ale was aged in oak for over 120 days. The aging process extracts flavors from the wood, which contribute to its complex character. Hints of bourbon flavor perfectly compliment its roasted malts to produce a beer fit for a King.

"Very dark brown color, thin light brown head, aroma of coffee and malt, complex flavor finishes creamy smooth.

Dark and beautiful pour. Sweet with a hoppy taste. Wikkid good beer. I’d rather sit on my couch and drink this while waching the Brewer game then go to the game and drink Miller light (even moreso since the game tonight is in Philly).

Frothy, foamy cramy head over a dark, coffee-colored body. Very mealty and somewhat sour aroma. Alcohol is well-hidden. Sour mash present with hints of cocoa and a gentle herbalness. Did they use lagering yeast for this? Both chocolate and herbs/grassiness in the flavor as well.

Pour is a dark black with a tan head. Aroma is deffinatly chocolate with a nice woody smell. Flavor is again chocolate with a touch of coffee and some vanilla in there. Almost has a chocolate milk like texture on the tounge. Alcohol is hidden well as there was no burn as it went down. Kind of pricey but very tasty.

22oz Bomber. Lotta pressure upon opening. Huge cavernous tan, clinging head. Dark with a slight ruby hint toward the edges. Huge creamy vanilla aroma from the head. Musty and woody. Sugary and buttery. All malt in the nose. Full and lively with a ton of sout tart bitter esters and a sour dry vanilla oaky finish. Weird! This beer is complex and layered, with a host of flavor combinations. And somewhere during the ride, I get the gas face. I’m gonna try and pinpoint it. Flavors of cocoa, bitter chocolate, pepper, Fruit esters, pine, vanilla, woody barnyard, cloying sweet. Syrupy. Caramel notes. Second glass, even more carbonation. Much of the same for the cavernous head. Ya know, I wish I could use that term more often. You have to take advantage of any excuse to use the word "cavernous". Nose is the same. Strong vanilla. Still weird. Still chocolate and tart cherries. Still kind of a clusterfuck flavor. Sorry kids. Filtered? The carbonation is enormous. Still! Spicy apples and cinnamon. Plums and port. Vanilla and oak. This was kinda tough. And while it impressed me with the complexity of flavors, the muddled random taste sensations were usually not complementary to the prior and post. So, overall, alot of flavors, but most of them I didn’t care for. At least not in that combination and overlap. Whatever. I’m still drinking it!

Pours dark-brownish black with dark tan head that lingers. Aroma is malty, chocolately, roasted nuts, brown sugar and molasses. Flavor is to match, but adds an additional coffee sweetness. Great flavor, but too sweet for more than one... probably one of the most stout like ales I’ve ever had.

Pours a dark black with an off-white head. Aroma is malty with a roasted nut presence. It has a light coffee malt like taste with a light alcohol finish. Quite nice.

Bottle: Pours a coffee color (brownish black) with a light brown head. Aroma and taste is cocoanut milk with a creamy feel on the palate that finishes with a light bitterness. A smooth and very different brew!
