Commercial Description:
Dragon’s Milk is a 17th century term used to describe the strong beer usually reserved for royalty. This strong ale was aged in oak for over 120 days. The aging process extracts flavors from the wood, which contribute to its complex character. Hints of bourbon flavor perfectly compliment its roasted malts to produce a beer fit for a King.

almost opaque with a thing and short-lived tan head. aroma is faint chocolate milk with just a hint of coffee..that almost combine into some kind of industrial plastic. flavor is pretty sweet, with a little roastiness and as hopsrus stated, there is a lot of vanilla. for such a big beer, the flavor seems a fair amount empty, althought somewhat chewy. i dont detect any oak either...oh well.

Pours a dark black brown color with reddish highlights and a medium small sized khaki head. Nose is smokey dark chocolate, earth, cocoa, vanilla, etc. Similar to taste. Taste is vanilla, dark chocolate, cream, weak coffee, bourbon, and animal fat. Disappointed.

Bottle. Pours a deep dark black with a thin soapy beige head. Light wood and vanilla, smoke, bitter cocoa, roast, and a bit of sweet malt. Medium to thick bodied, smooth and silky, chocolate and a little booze. Tastes a bit like a bourbon and chocolate milkshake. Light bourbon on the finish, touch of alcohol, vanilla and roast. This was quite tasty.

Dark brown pour, thin tan head. Bourbon, sweet roasted dark malt, a bit of oak and vanilla. Mostly bourbon.. it’s kind of simple. The mouthfeel is to thin.

Eggplant in color with a large white head that is mostly diminishing. Very sweet aroma of tart berries, caramel, coffee, and balsamic vinegar. Sweet flavor, nearly cloyingly so, with sour green grapes, wet balsa wood, instant coffee grounds, and a bit of toffee. Sour, lightly bitter finish is slightly alcoholic. Very well-hidden alcohol for being 10% abv.

Very dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of wood, chocolate and vanilla. Flavor of vanilla and bourbon. A little too syrupy sweet.

22 oz bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a small head. Aroma is malty, with a solid, wonderful vanilla and caramel twist. Extremely tasty. Notes of oak, vanilla, chocolate, and roasted malts. This beverage is good - but definitely a beer to share as a 22 oz is just about too much for one sitting - even as good as I found it.
