Commercial Description:
Dragon’s Milk is a 17th century term used to describe the strong beer usually reserved for royalty. This strong ale was aged in oak for over 120 days. The aging process extracts flavors from the wood, which contribute to its complex character. Hints of bourbon flavor perfectly compliment its roasted malts to produce a beer fit for a King.

Black, small cream head. Carmel, cognac, and malt, lots of malt aroma. Creamy, creamy, with just a great malted flavor. Some chocolate, some caramel and vanilla. It does have an odd bit of a metallic, maybe even blood flavor. I wonder if that was intentional? Overall, reminds me of eating a caramel sucker when I was a kid, and then with enough bitter and warmth to remind me I am an adult.

Sampled at the Second Cellar Reduction. Pours a very dark brown with fisheye bubble tan head. Aroma notes of anise, raisin, and alcohol. Nice roasty flavors, oak, dark rum soaked fruits, molasses. Very tasty brew. Exactly what I imagine dragons milk to taste like. Great name.

Large bottle brought from the Ohio area - Great aroma with that Oak Aged goodness appearing from the nose to the palate. Oak spirits with smooth caramel malts and some vanilla notes. Perfect blend of alc. with the aged quality you would expect, a robust and smooth enjoyable stout.

Draught from Sugar Maple. Dark reddish-brown with medium tan head. Sweet aroma of butterscotch and caramel. Very sweet taste of more of the same, some roasted malts along the way. A little sticky but overall I liked this one.

22 oz bottle another fine product from new Holland. chocolate flavor is pronounced and this beer is probably best on the warmer side then colder. Great balance of flavor and the 9% ABV is very well hidden.

Sample from July Beer Club Meeting. Clear, dark cola-like appearance. Thin head, aroma of roasted barley, a little nutty. Flavor is a little fruity. Silky deliciousness. Something irresistible about this.

Bottle. Pours dark, dense brown with a frothy, pungent off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, and spice. Full body, with a crisp, clean aftertaste. All around decent strong ale.
