Commercial Description:
Consider it an extremely hoppy barleywine, or a really big IPA. Either way, ten hop additions contribute to its lush and intriguing body. Aggressive dry-hopping brings a strong citrus character to the aroma. The flavor and smell of orange-blossoms pervade throughout the experience.
Ingredience:Water,Barley(200 pounds per barrel of American-grown malted barley),Hops(10 hop-strikes,totaling 17 ounces per barrel of American-grown hops) and yeast(it is what it is).

Bottle from Whole Foods, Cleveland Heights. A strange IPA, commercial description more of barleywine. Bitter IPA mostly, highly carbonated, below average mouthfeel. Light orange colour. Drinkable, OK as an IPA. A bit of hop aroma.

Bottle most likely in trade from a forgotten source. Thanks! Pours orange and clear with a white head. Smell is malty, caramel and tast is caramel, a touch of booze and lightly aged hops. Drinkable, decent barley wine, but not too extraordinary.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this, but being a major hophead I had to try it.
Really nicely balanced, juicy citrus flavors from the hops, malt backbone supports it. Nice sharp bitter finish.

draft at buckeye- pretty disappointed with this one- just not much there- kind of just goes down- sweet and alcoholic- where are the hops- pretty muddled presentation.

Flaske, drukket sammen med klubben. Uklar lys orange, næsten intet skum. Duft af parfume, karameller, nødder, peber. Smager let støvet, orange/grapefrugt, abrikos. Lidt tynd i mundfylden.

Bottle thx to me. Hazy and amber coloured with almost no head. Quite well balanced with notes of caramel, malt, spices, dried fruit and citrus hops.
