New Holland Feverish

Draft at brewpub. Poured clear brown color with a moderate white fizzy head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Good complex toasted nutty aroma. Medium body. Well balanced sweet nutty flavor with a moderate smooth sweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.

On tap at the brewery. Clear dark copper or brown body, thin off-white head. Toasty aroma that developed diacetyl notes as it warmed. At its initial serving temperature, the body was dominated by a rough graininess with heavy toast and an earthy, bitter finish with hints of fruitskin/berries. As it warmed, however, diacetyl exerted itself and dominated the flavor profile. Very thin-bodied. A weird beer, and probably not one I’d drink again, with or without the diacetyl.

there isnt much to say about this slightly sickly sweet brown ale that is laced with the typical NHBC patented diacetyl; wait a minute, i guess there was something to say about it...please stop brewing beers that suck in general
