Light golden color. Small white head. Smells like apple juice. Dry and bitter taste of oranges, apples, and grapefruits. Overall this was pretty good.

12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Drank and rated on 2-1-07. Pours light gold with a small white head. The head is mostly diminishing with no lacing. There isnt much of a aroma comming out of the glass, a light strawy aroma. Taking a drink there was a very light orange bitterness. The body is light with a watery texture and lively carbonation. A very thirst quenching beer, a good sub for a BMC.

Bottle. Sweet Saaz aroma, brings back fond memories, Some nice complementary grain, too. Clear yellow-golden body with a lacing white, soapy head. Crisp and strong sour taste - a lot of citrus and some astringency. Body is on the thinner side of medium. Not so good.

Pours a slightly cloudy yellow body with a thin white head. Aroma doesn’t hold much, a little citrusy. Flavor is much more lively with some hops and a nicely balancing sweetness. Interesting but not a whole lot happening.

A white head settles slow and rocky over a pale amber body with a light haze and faint carbonation. Hopping is sharp and herbal with a touch of citrus... and a hint of white glue is the solitary clue (for me, anyway) that this may be a lager and not an APA. Thin, bitter & herbal flavor with prominent alcohol and a dry, peppered finish. I am surprised at such diversity from Saaz.

Bottle... Hazy light yellow lager with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Excellent, creamy retention. Breadsy, pilsener malt nose. Spicy hops cause Novocain-like numbness on my tongue. A touch oxidized. Mildly acidic. Light-bodied and fizzy. Crisp, bitter finish.

Clear golden body with a nice head that diminishes fairly quickly. Flavor is OK, a bit heavier on the grain than I would have expected. Saaz hops come through with a bit of pepper, but not as much as I would have liked.

Draught at the brew pub. Clear gold color with a white head that laced the glass. Smelled of light cereal grain and sprucy hops. Flavor was similar. Dry on the tongue with a delicate bitter finish.
