Very pleasant, easy-drinking lager, but with some interesting things going on. I detected a bit of graininess, almost chewiness in the mouthfeel. Simple malt/hop balance with a bit of citrus/lemon/orange note. Refreshingly tart/ bitter finish. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Nov 2, 2005 This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized foamy white colored head of finely sized mostly diminishing bubbles that left behind a softly carbonated transparent yellow colored body. The aroma was mild with malty hoppy notes. The mouth feel was mild and smooth initially with a tinglyness from start to finish. Its mild crisp malt hop flavor made for an easy drinking brew. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 1, 2005 Safe pour, cloudy bright yellow body, floral nose. Lemon cream weiss-like flavor. A straightforward simply made premium lager is a unique beer in today’s complicated micro beer world. Definitely better than anybody’s first homebrew. LilKem (1210), Marietta, Ohio, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 30, 2005 Bright freakin yellow with HUGE white head. looks good enough, i think to myself. then i smell it, has a weak almost bud light swill quality to it. taste: soapy, malty, and like a dandelion flavor. not so good. made mike finish it. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 22, 2005 Draft at NHBC. Small white head that quickly diminished, fine-large sized bubbles, poor lacing, carbonated, transparent, and a yellow hue. Malty, sweet, and a subtle hint of hops in the aroma. Ditto for the flavor. Tingly palate. Light body. Dorwart (1823), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 11, 2005 Decent sized bright white head of fine bubbles. Light carbonation. Reduces quickly. Light aroma with malts, marshmallow and a hint of hops. Pale gold in color. Light, lemony and tart. Dry palate with some hops presence and bitterness. Dry puckering finish. Decent but unexpected tartness for a lager. Probably would not try again. Dextolen (151), Michigan, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 6, 2005 Whoa, boilover, my bottle must have been old. Extremely violent carbonation. Once the foam died down, this clear, yellow bubbly lager seemed pretty decent. Nothing notable about the flavor, pretty smooth, I guess that’s desired in a lager of this type. Lawnmower brew for sure, but do you pay this much for a lawnmower beer? Walt (2289), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 25, 2005 Pour is hazy golden yellow with a bright white head...smell is somewhat grassy, but almost nonexistent...taste is clean and sweet up front with a nice bitter kick at the end...this is an enjoyable lager...
