Sep 13, 2004 I am delighted by the simplicity of this brew. Veryflavorful, allowing anyone to pick out the haylike straw of great pils malt and the drying, flowery peppery Saaz. Could be even meatier (leading to a stronger aroma), and could be bottle-conditioned - otherwise, I’m a big fan, and generally I find NH overrated as hell out here in the midwest.

Sep 12, 2004 Autumn Brew Review 2004. Yellow color with no head. Slightly malty aroma, but it picks up more in the taste. Lager? Wow, it tastes better than most "Premium Lagers" I’ve had. A little citrus too.
