Smells fresh and malty with a hint of hops. The flavor is crisp and malty with a bitterness that dances between malt and hop. A nice addition to my Thanksgiving meal this year!

Light color, light aroma, light flavor. Average and simple, light and easy to drink.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle. Appearance: Slightly hazy gold color with a foamy white head. The head struggles to sustain itself. Aroma: A little off smelling skunk, honey suckle, light grain notes, and a bit of perfume. Taste: Closely follows the nose. Off cooked vegetable note, cereal, grass, and perfume. Not very redeeming. Palate: Medium, smooth carbonation with a medium, slightly oily mouthfeel. Overall: This one is out of balance on the malt side. There are much better Kolsches out there and this one isn’t recommended.

A golden brew with a very big soapy head that has excellent retention. Nice lacing. Plenty of visible carbonation and floating yeast. Some malt and grain in the aroma but nothing much really. Flavor is also light malt and grain with dry bitterness. Just a bit of soap. Not a lot of flavor or anything else of interest.

What a great brew for a hot summer day. Deep yellow pour with slightly cloudy body and respectable white head. Aroma of grain with very slight hops or citrus overtones. Crisp, clean flavor of light malts and pleasant dry finished with just a smack of hops at the end. Less can be more and more ins’t neccessarily better... Or, whatever. But for a refrshing summer brew this is great.

Bottle shared by someone kind at SL. Dunno, but thanks to whomever. Pour was golden colored decent levels of carbonation, head was ok, but the bottle had been opened for a while. The aroma was grainey with some light fruits: pear/apple type thing going on? The flavor followed with some bready notes, finishing with perhaps a touch of some dry honey. The mouthfeel was light and carbonated, dry, refreshing.

Pours a pale, hazy yellow with some suspended sediment and a fizzy/frothy white head that diminishes to a thin cap at the surface. The nose is of faint, dusty pilsner malt and lightly grassy hops. Fairly muted, it smells a bit like a "pilsner light", leaning slightly toward the hops side of the spectrum. Light-bodied and fairly effervescent, it finishes crisp and clean with just a touch of bitterness lingering after the swallow. While the aroma isn’t particularly enticing, the flavor is quite satisfying and refreshing: light, bright and somewhat toned-down pilsner malt with a pleasant grassy hop finish. This would be an exceptional "lawnmower beer": extremely quaffable, refreshing and crisp with enough flavor to keep the beer geek in me happy. I think it would be hard pressed to stand up to most foods, but as a standalone summer session beer it brings a lot a nice qualities to the table.

Bottle. A light golden straw color pour with a HUGE white head, fizzy carbonation with some spotty lacing left. Aroma is of light hops, lightly toasted malt, and hints of white grape. Flavor is slightly fruity,a little more malt than expected, some fruity lightly spicy hops, faint white grapes, hints of honey, very good balance, clean mouthfeel, slightly dry finish, with a long viny, lightly bitter aftertaste, very sessionable and a good smooth drinker.
