Pours a clear golden with a thin white head. Aroma is light malts, grains, and grassy notes. Light bodied with medium carbonation. Tastes of light malts, light grassy hops, grains and rather dry overall. Very simple and unimpressive beer, even for a Kolsch.

Bottled. Poured clear, bright golden with a short-lived cap of white head. The aroma picked up sweet bready notes and lemon zest on a well-balanced impression.. honey sweetness followed and while nice, wasn’t necessary. The honey gave more of an impression in the flavor department.. light floral and earthy bitterness plus lemon zest around.. white perrery spicage and lemon zest over bready sweetness on the finish. Lighter-bodied on the palate with moderate carbonation and very good balance.. tasty and very drinkable stuff.

Bottle. Poured gold with a white head. Aroma consisted of both grainy and wheat bread notes. Flavor was crisp with a bit of resin hops but mainly grainy malts. Nice and crisp on the tongue.

[Bottle] Pours a golden color with a nice sized white head. Aroma of sweet malts and some grain. Taste is of crisp, mild hops and grass. Some cereal notes as well. Slightly above average mouthfeel for the style. Pretty tasty and certainly refreshing.

Clear gold pour with a very thin white head. Grain, cereal, and hops are evident in the mild aroma. Fairly smooth with ample carbonation. The overall mild sweetness of cereal and grain is pushed aside at the end by a punch of hops. Not a bad brew but nothing too exciting.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of noble hops, slight grass, and a hint of vegetables. Poured yellow in color with a tiny white head that disappeared very quickly. Hazy and slightly cloudy. Barely sparkling. Many large particles throughout. Flavor is slightly sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of noble hops, vegetables, and a hint of malts. Light to medium body. Lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Noble hop and slight vegetable finish is slightly dry.

Bruegala 2009 sampling - Pours a hazy bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma is modest with some grainy, hay, straw notes, grass hops notes and light vanilla. Flavor has a bite of vanilla, pretty grainy, hay malt notes with some light grassy hops notes. Body is modest with a thin texture and lively carbonation. Overall not bad but nothing to striking.
