On tap at Old Chicago. Orange-gold with a thin white head. Both spice and pumpkin are understated in the aroma. A surprising amount of malt comes through. Taste is similar. It’s almost like a lightly spiced Octoberfest rather than a pumpkin beer. Still, rather enjoyable and more drinkable than a lot of the category that become overwhelming by the bottom of the glass.

pours a medium gold with a thin white head. Aroma is cinnamon/nutmeg spice, a touch of pumpkin. Flavour is again pie spice, light biscuity malt and a little metallic bitterness in the finish. Meh, so-so.

Bottle. Light amer in color with a head that dissipates quickly. Sweet malty aroma with some spice. Light palate. Flavor starts out a sweet maltish with a pumpkin middle and a mix of cinnamon and nutmeg finish.

Pours kind of orange. Spicy pumpkin aroma, some nutmeg, some cinnamon. Pumpkin and spice flavor with some bitterness. Maybe a bit herbal. I wouldn’t drink this again.

Hazy light orange. Very strong pumpkin flavor but somehow the spice mix makes it a plesnat drink. Nice body with a bit of hops. on draft.

12 oz bottle. Very pumpkin aroma along with pumpkin pie spices, nutmeg mace and cinnamon. Mostly clear orange golden with creamy off-white head. Lots of pumpkin in the flavor. Well balanced with caramel maltyness and nice slightly spicy finish. One of the better pumpkins I’ve had.

Draft at the Brickskeller, D.C. Fairy clear pour, orange verging on burnt sienna. Definitely on the cloudy side, almost like a bruin or something. Modest nose, with the pumpkin emerging fairly softly. Decent bodied amber as the base beer, very unspectacular. But the pumpkin and spice are fairly organic, and that’s pleasant to drink.

Cloudy golden/orange color with a thin but foamy and long lasting white head. Aroma of pumpkin and spice. Flavor has a very strong hop presence. Not what I was expecting. Kind of reminds me of an IPA, but with pumpkin. WTF!
