Slight pumpkin aroma, with almost minimal amounts of spice. Flavor was slightly disappointing - not bad, but certainly not up to the aroma or flavor that I’ve had of other pumpkin beers. Decent enough - not offensive. wheelz843 (211), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

Taste starts with a buttery pumpkin spice flavor and fades to an herbal finish.
This is ok, but probably not something I’d try again. 17thfloor (1486), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 29, 2008 Was handed a bottle of this over the weekend and asked for my thoughts on it by a local distributor. Aroma is definitely pumpkiny but not overpowering. The same can be said for the flavor where more spice comes out including some true pumpkin in it. Standard variety of pie spices to boot with a hoppier than expected finish. I wouldn’t buy a case but I’ll take a freebie. sweejr (2), , Virginia, USA does not count | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 24, 2008 Great aroma, a tasty seasonal brew that goes great with falling leaves & cooler weather...fun fall beer..very punkineske...maybe my 3rd or 4th punkin choice..but not bad at all... ucusty (1892), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Sep 22, 2008 I’m not opposed to Pumpkin ales by any stretch but this is one of the more boring ones I’ve had. The aroma is pumpkin, apple juice, and a touch of cinnamon. The flavor is rather small with just a touch of pumpkin and spice. It’s very fizzy. Pumpkin doesn’t have a ton of flavor so this one needed a lot more spice going on for it to work. It didn’t work.
