The aroma is pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and an off vegetable note. The flavor is less dominating than the nose and is mainly pumpkin and light spice. A touch on the thin side. I haven’t really found a pumpkin beer that I’ve enjoyed. punkrkr27 (649), Berkley, Michigan, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 25, 2008 Clear gold pour with a frothy, 1 finger white head that quickly fades to a small ring. Smells of bready malt, pumpkin, nutmeg, a little noble hop spice, slight corn. Flavor is definitely dominated by nutmeg, pumpkin, and other spices with a light, crisp, and faintly doughy finish. Body is thin with soft carbonation. FROTHINGSLOSH (2038), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy bright golden color with a small white head. The aroma was dry and spicy with notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. The flavor was dry and spicy with strong cinnamon and nutmeg elements. The spices completely dominated this beer and leave very little "beer" like flavor to be detected. rudolf (1786), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 18, 2007 Tap in Cleveland. Clear gold, solid white head. Nose is undefined light pumpkin spice & malt. Flavor is far more of that pumpkin spice and way too sweet. Kinda doughy. Interesting but not for me. roder60 (1030), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 4, 2007 this beer was very good. Almost to strong of a pumkin flavor though. Very ’spicey’ with big nutmeg notes that almost take over. This is not a guzzling beer, but it works after a long day on a cold night. TheOrange (418), Kent, Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 4, 2007 the pour is a cloudy orange body with a small off white head. Aroma is hop and spice, some numeg, pumpkin spice. The flavor is true to the aroma, the small pumpkin flavor is there, but it is buried under the other spices. quick clean finish. An ok beer. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 3, 2007 Amber, off white fizzy head. Great fall spice aroma. In my opinion, what is different about this brew is that first and foremost, at its base, this is a great pale lager. Add to that background spices and you have a solid seasonal brew that does not come off as gimmicky or overplay the spice flavors. One of the better Halloween brews out there.
