From dra19 via trade. Thanks again Dennis! The pour was a surprisingly clear and relatively light golden copper color. The head was white, scant and evaporated in no time. No real lacing. The aroma was malt, light spice and yes a bit of pumpkin. Some hints of baked bread in there too. The flavor was malt, pumpkin, rubbing alcohol and spice. The mouthfeel was slick and almost unpleasant. A very light bodied ale. Not really what I expected.

The color was a golden orange. The head was thin, fizzy, and off-white. The aroma was corn beef hash, pumpkin, sweet malt, and some spice. The flavor was spicey, pumpkin, some hops, and sweet malt. The palate was moderately carbonated. The finish was clean.

Pours a hazy pale orange with little to no head. Mellow pumpkin aroma, some spice, cinnamon/nutmeg probably, and some grassy hops towards the end. The flavor is definitely sweet spiced, pumpkin is evident, some grassy hops, and a little bit of that cardboard macro feel. The palate is pretty average and boasts moderate carbonation and a bit of sweetness. The nutmeg hangs around a little bit longer.

Bottle. Hazy gold, with a thick, durable, white head. Spicy aroma, with clove, nutmeg and cinnamon being prominent. Nice balance of flavors, perhaps a bit too heavy. The spice gets a bit old.

Bottle. Poured a pale orange body with thin head. Aroma is faint, light pumpkin and spices, some apple pie. Flavor has a light perfume spice to it, the pumpkin is subtle and works well here. Finishes dry.

12 oz bottle - pours much lighter than any pumpkin ales I’ve tried this fall, almost looks like an IPA, and a hazy one at that. Aroma is full of those familiar pumpkin pie spices - clove, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, but also a very good dose of hops in there as well. Flavour is the spice again, but there’s a peculiar rosy component there - very floral, I guess from the hops, but it reminds me of perfume. Rose perfume? Not much finish, and medium body. Good beer, but not one of the better pumpkins I’ve tried. Love the label.

Bottle. poured amberish with medium white head. Aroma of pumpkin and spices. Flavor was of uncooked pumpkin. Strong malt in the finish. Very fizzy, light bodied. Couldn’t taste any spices.

Bottle from Friar Tuck in Savoy, IL. Pours a hazy pale amber with a white head. Aroma of pumpkin spices. Medium bodied with a lighter texture and some soft fizziness. Very pale toffee like malts in the background that is dominated by spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, etc.) Finish has some notes of tea, clove, and yeast. The tea like bitterness lingers. Not bad, but could use a little more malt backbone- a little unbalanced for me.
