| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 23, 2007 Bottle. Poured a pale orange body with thin head. Aroma is faint, light pumpkin and spices, some apple pie. Flavor has a light perfume spice to it, the pumpkin is subtle and works well here. Finishes dry. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 22, 2007 12 oz bottle - pours much lighter than any pumpkin ales I’ve tried this fall, almost looks like an IPA, and a hazy one at that. Aroma is full of those familiar pumpkin pie spices - clove, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, but also a very good dose of hops in there as well. Flavour is the spice again, but there’s a peculiar rosy component there - very floral, I guess from the hops, but it reminds me of perfume. Rose perfume? Not much finish, and medium body. Good beer, but not one of the better pumpkins I’ve tried. Love the label. SB (318), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 16, 2007 Bottle. poured amberish with medium white head. Aroma of pumpkin and spices. Flavor was of uncooked pumpkin. Strong malt in the finish. Very fizzy, light bodied. Couldn’t taste any spices. illinismitty (1801), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 13, 2007 Bottle from Friar Tuck in Savoy, IL. Pours a hazy pale amber with a white head. Aroma of pumpkin spices. Medium bodied with a lighter texture and some soft fizziness. Very pale toffee like malts in the background that is dominated by spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, etc.) Finish has some notes of tea, clove, and yeast. The tea like bitterness lingers. Not bad, but could use a little more malt backbone- a little unbalanced for me. MrBendo (1047), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 12, 2007 Bottle. Clear amber color with a medium head. Great lacing. Aroma of yeast, sugar and pie spice. Flavor was pretty close to what would be expected, except it was light on pumpkin and far too yeasty. It’s a good looking, fizzy beer, however. | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Oct 4, 2007 Wonderful nose of pumpkins and spice. On the palate it was malty but also had plenty of that yummy pumpkin pie taste. Lighter for a pumpkin beer but that comes in handy on those indian summer nights. I’d have to say this was my favorite pumpkin beer so far this season. polomagnifico (535), Saginaw, Michigan, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 3, 2007 bottle. Average sized white head that mostly diminished and left fair lacing. Orange gold hue. Flavor was a little malty with some spice. Light body and soft carbonation. Not impressed in the least. Will not try again.
