Hazy amber with a small, slightly off-white ring. Good balance. Very well made. The nutmeg, mixed with some cinammon is done just right. Not too watery, not too spicy. One of the better pumpkin brews out there. Underrated. bp (460), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Sep 20, 2007 Bottle: pours is orange with a thin head, I can barely pick up any aroma off of this - maybe a little spice, flavor is overly spicy with a thin mouthfeel, another pumpkin beer I regret buying. Yuck. dp (512), uniontown, Ohio, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 18, 2007 Another decent pumpkin. I was always shocked at how quick this would sell out at the place I shopped in Royal Oak. It is nice and spicey. zebracakes (1216), Washington DC, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 16, 2007 This beer pours a slightly hazy copper color with good head formation. Aroma is of cinammon and a bit of canned pumpkin, but gave me some omen that this beer might be a bit watery in the mouthfeel (can water have a smell?). Flavor is a bit of pumpkin, a bit of copper (metallic), and a touch of pumpkin-pie spices (either cinammon or nutmeg). Not bad, and a nice change of pace for the fall season. I’d recommend it; pumpkin beer is one of the things that make this time of year special. However, I think I would think less of this beer if it were available year-round. cheapdark (2029), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Sep 15, 2007 Slight hazy brownish orange color but light. Has a froth for a head, or should I say lack of head! Initially a sour aroma but in the glass it has a slight spice aroma. When you pour this stuff the gunk on the bottom of the bottle comes out in chunks, watch out. Makes you wannah pout. You may not want to pour it all out of the bottle. Very light carbonation, almost flat. Taste is spicy, a bit difficult to detect the pumpkin in this brew tho the spices are readily observable. Goes flat rather quickly after the carbonation at the commencement fades. Typical pumpkin beer with less carbonation on the back of the throat. Finish is nearly mechanical propinquity.
