More beer and less pumpkin. Fairly dry. Not a bad beer, but not my favorite pumpkin beer by a long shot.

Moderate straw/golden, light for what it is, some head sticking around. A little pumpkin in the nose but it is much more a spice beer, with a bit of nutmeg and clove. A hint of bitterness in the finish, but not awkwardly. It seems dry. Not a bad beer; reasonably drinkable. Glad they didn’t overdo the pumpkin.

12 oz Bottle via Shigadeyo (thanks!). Pours a semi hazy amber with a tiny head. Aroma is mostly pumpkin, vanilla, and nutmeg. Tastes like it smells with some clove and some hops in the finish. Well carbonated. medium body.

Pours a cloudy light gold with a small head. Aroma of pumpkin and cinnamon is good. Flavor is bland, flat finish.

12oz bottle. Poured a medium amber color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of pumpkins and spices (I’m getting cinnamon, nutmeg and some others in there). I liked the way pumpkin was done in the aroma. Tastes of very light pumpkin and very light spices. The tastes were a major let down compared to the aroma. Thin and watery body.

Bottle. Poured an exceptionally pale coppery orange, with almost no head or lacing. Aroma was very nice, an aromatic blend of sweet hops, pumpkin and spice. Quite rich. Rich flavor as well, a spiciness of cardamon and cinnamon and a faint bitter end. Smooth full-bodied, almost creamy. I was expecting little but this bear really surprised me! My favorite pumpkin of the year.

In the bottle at the Max & Joe’s Tavern Michigan Beer tasting (11/21/6). Pours golden yellow with a non-existent head. Very strong ginger aroma. Tingly ginger flavor. Pumpkin pie spices are strongly present, but the smooth thick sweetness of pumpkin in the body is absent. Overall, quite a thin beer, but very spicey.
