Taste of pumpkin, malt, ginger, clove, hops and cinnamon. Watery, gram cracker bitterness at the end. MrChris (110), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 18, 2006 Yellow orange in color with an off white head that quickly settles down. Little if any noticeable aroma. Little primary flavor with a slightly bitter after taste. Remind me , again, not to buy beer based on the art work on the bottle. This one has an intriguing one. No pumpkin, nutmeg, or cinnamon flavor as promised on the label. Not a pumpkin beer by my judgement. spector (906), Lancaster, Ohio, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 11, 2006 Small head, horrible aroma with booze. Apple juice with strong carbonation. Pumpkin and cloves in taste, the nutmeg and the cinammon, brown suger. Off-bitterness. Light mouthfeel. A me-too pumpkin. Didn’t work. Ughsmash (4062), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 11, 2006 Bottled. Porued a deeper golden with a short cap of white head, some lacing, and a bunch of particulate suspended in there. The nose was rather light with pumpkin spicing, but not really actual pumpkin... soapy lemon and grassy hops appear as it warms. Soap and nutmeg in the flavor with grassy hop bitterness. Lighter-bodied and slick on the palate... not awful, but I cannot say that it looked, smelled, tasted, or felt good. natetheviking (4), USA does not count | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 11, 2006 Well, in trying to assess the look and smell of this beer I accidentally poured half my glass in to my lap. This is not unprecedented, however, you should take this into account when reading this rating.
I like the color and smell better (and more pumpkinalicious) than the flavor, which strikes me as a little too nutmeggy. Now, excuse me, my pizza is burning. gavygavgav (7), Michigan, USA does not count | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 3, 2006 Aroma of nutmeg and of course pumpkin! Wonderful light orange color, flavor varies, with some foods it’s pumpkiny, with others the spices come out more. Light-medium mouthfeel that goes great with the taste. Good pumpkin beer! | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 31, 2006 Light distant aroma of pumpkin flesh and Frangelico. Pour of just slightly hazed glowing pie skin orange. Soapy white rim. Flavor a chewy mask of candy corn and wisping pie spice residue, authentic. Subtle and pie like. A nice gentle balance of the pumpkin, malt and spices. Not overbearing and yet hoppily refracted. Not horrible.
