Aroma is spicy, but subdued. Nutmeg is dominant w/ some light cinnamon, toasty malt, and light pumpkin aromas. Well balanced w/ a lot of spice, but just to bitter. A bit of herbal hop flavor in the dry finish. Aftertaste is a bit dry and tannic. Medium body, lower carb., a bit astringent. Not my favorite style of beer for sure. Too much tannin from spices to be enjoyable and I couldn’t drink much more than one. shrubber85 (2934), Wallhalben, Germany

Flavor primarily clove and nutmeg but also with lighter cinnamon and pumpkin notes as well. Nicely blended beer - gives you what it says. Panzuriel (994), Westerville, Ohio, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 8, 2005 Clear golden straw body with a fading, sudsy white head. Festive aroma of nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon, allspice, pumpkin, and buttery, nutty malt. Nicely spiced flavor includes an unexpected citrus aspect suggesting pineapple plus a lightly starchy pumpkin impression. Medium pumpkin pie sweetness with low bitterness and low acidity. A decent and enjoyable authentic pumpkin beer. Nejhleader (930), Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Nov 8, 2005 Draft: Very light pumpkin aroma, with a hint of spice, color is an amber with a hint of orange and a small white head, flavor is relatively lifeless, a hint of pumpkin spice flavor, and a little bit of sweet malt, overly watery. Not anything special. mikerevello (1), USA does not count | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 3, 2005 The pumpkin aroma is stong and is complimented by the cinnamon, all-spice and nutmeg. The color is a copper/orange, and there is a definite hoppiness to it. The taste reminds me of pumpkin pie, where the pumpkin is there but not too prominent. There is a long, bitter finish with a hint of spices.
