Aroma is very pale lager like with no spice or pumpkin detectable at all. Flavor even more of a letdown. Pale lager through and through with faint spice towards the finish. Can’t believe I used to actually enjoy this brew. Too many re-rates have been the same to be coincidence. bu11zeye (5530), Frisco, Texas, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 2, 2005 Bottle. Poured a murky dark orange with a decent sized white head. Aroma makes you want to break out the whipped cream to top that Pumpkin Pie, very tantalizing. Quite a bit of pumpkin flavor, with a bit of nutmeg. This was pretty good for a vegetable/spice beer, but there are better out there in the market. Tonitones (13), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Oct 2, 2005 This beer pours so pretty and smells kinda good, but the flavor is nothing short of terrible. at first you get the pumpkin, but the finish as well as the aftertaste is bitter and gross. I am hoping that there is a better option as far as pumpkin ales go because this one is a flop! JoshuaB (427), Detroit, Michigan, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 2, 2005 Pours a somewhat cloudy copper orange with some thick white head. Aroma is all about pumpkin pie. Taste is more of the same. I enjoyed this beer but it seemed flawed in a few ways. First it really needed some more malt and sweetness, as the finish was pretty bitter and unflavorful, not really good for the style and season. Also, the flavor needed to be turned up a few notches, this is a cold weather beer afterall, not a session guzzler, or at least it shouldnt be. Oh yeah, this beer shouldnt be filtered. nowise (17), USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Sep 29, 2005 How delightful. Very nice spicy smell, like a bakery in october. Orange color, good flavor. Lots of spicy undertones and the pumpkin comes in late, when you least expect it. Kind of watery, but overall very tasty. Tmoney99 (4761), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
