Lots of spicy undertones and the pumpkin comes in late, when you least expect it. Kind of watery, but overall very tasty. Tmoney99 (4778), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 24, 2005 Pour is almost a bright orange with a white head. Aroma is of cinnamon and spice. Flavor is deffiantly pumpkin with a nutmeg after taste. Swallow finishes watery and thin. My first pumpkin beer and its so-so. Ok to have one but more than one is a a bit much. Could use more spice. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 21, 2005 12 oz bottle pours amber witha short tan head that laces a little. Aroma of caramel malts, pumpkin, some corriander and yeast. Flavor is a nice blend of yeast, pumpkin, caramel, spice, and some earthy undertones. Palate is medium bodied and almost a buttery mouthfeel. This is a pretty good seasonal. Definitely worth a try. sandwichpants (117), Royal Oak, Michigan, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 8, 2005 From a bottle into a straight sided glass. Kinda pale looking, but a nice head. Aroma is wonderful, beer(yeasty) and pumkin and spice, a little biased towards the spice. The yeastiness and the body remind me a little of a Tripel, but lighter. The flavour is very well balanced, better than other pumpkin beer’s I’ve tried. If it were a little deeper in it’s malts and body, this would be world glass, but as it is, it’s still a very nice beer. 1FastSTi (2580), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 5, 2005 Poured from what I suspect is a 2005 bottle since I bought it in Sept. from a store that didn’t have it the previous month. This beer pours to a fizzy/foamy white head atop a clear dull golden body. Good lacing. The aroma is very strong. Yeast, nutmeg, pumpkin, ginger, wet/undercooked pumpkin bread, clove. The flavor of this pumpkin ale is much stronger than the O’Fallon I just tried. Tons of pumpkin, spices, yeast, wet/undercooked pumpkin bread, honey. This beer is good but a touch cloying with the spices 1/2 way through. This a pretty decent beer as far as pumpkin beers go. BigNasty (55), South Lyon, Michigan, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 15, 2005 Orange-y brown-ish color, predominately nutmeg flavor with pumpkin notes. My favorite pumpkin so far, but haven’t tried very many yet. MilkmanDan (1940), Eagan, Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 19, 2005 Clear orange-tan, thin creamy head. Nose spicy but not overpoweringly so, lots of ginger, bit of yeastiness, some vague breadiness. Somewhat sweet and fruity, fair amount of spiciness, the usual ginger/nutmeg/allspice. Bit cloying at the end, but at least the pumpkin isn’t overpowering here. As pumpkins go, it’s pretty good.
