Not as sweet or malty as other pumpkin ales I’ve had but I liked the different spin on the style. Nutty and lasting flavor of roasted squash. Mostly dry finish with lingering bitterness. I usually love pumpkin ales, so I was a little disappointed our local brewery. Pours a golden orange with white head. spiced aroma, in fact more spiced in aroma and flavor than pumpkin-y. thin and pretty easy to drink, but with a strange, lingering aftertaste. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 3, 2004 Pours golden with a moderate, short-lasting white head. Minimal lacing. Nice spiced aroma, but very little pumpkin aroma (or flavor). A very good, easy drinking beer though. 5000 (2625), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 30, 2004 Bottle pours reddish caramel, medium white frothy head, good carbonation, with fairly sticky lacing.   Not much pumpkin like aroma, but definite cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice.   Soft spicy flavor, quite a bit of nutmeg & allspice.   Decent body, medium mouthfeel.   Balanced spices on the fininish, not strong nor soft, just perfect.   Thanks goes out to heemer77 for the trade!

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 24, 2004 Nutmeg and cinnamon - the aroma mixes well with the pies that Lisa’s baking. Darker golden body - very clear, short ring of a head, no lacing. Taste is sweet, spicy and plenty of pumpkin. Finishes sweet. As others have noticed - this has a thin palate. sfontain (507), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 23, 2004 Bright orange with a very tiny, white head. Aroma heavily pumpkin and nutmeg and other pie spice. Flavor is pumpkin and spice as well, but it’s a lot more balanced and real-tasting than many other pumpkin brews. Unfortunately thin. Decent pumpkin beer. herbjones (742), Orange, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Nov 20, 2004 Decent pumpkin brew. Dark orange pour with a nose all full of spice. The one knock I have for this one is the palate. Body is a little thin for my tastes and it is overly carbonated. Cornfield (4972), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 17, 2004 This gives you a serious slam of pumpkin and spices as soon as you pop the bottle. It pours an orange color, highly carbonated, with a slight white head. It smells like Mom’s home baked pie should, full of pumpkin ’n’ allspice. The taste is just as spicy, but has enough of a malt backbone and hopping to remind you that it’s an ale that you’re drinking. I’m pretty much punkinailed out this year, but I’m glad I tried this one. Thanks, Randy.
