12 oz. Bottle. Pours a light amber color. Clear. LIght white head. Smells of spices and cloves. Flavor is not bad but rather bland for my liking.

Bottle. Pours a clear light amber with a small white head and little retention/no lacing. Big spicy aroma with some pumpkin pie, cloves, nutmeg. Taste is pale malt with lots of pumpkin pie spices and some graininess. Not bad but a little light-bodied and macro-ish.

Having a pumpkin ale tasting day. This one has almost no aroma despite all the spice added. Little body with a sweet taste. Balanced with a lot of nutmeg noticeable. Probably better than most with food, but is an average pumpkin ale by itself.

Sampled at Bruegala 2009. Amber orange with a spare, white head. Pumpkin nose with some black pepper, cinnamon and allspice. However, flavor severely lacking - minerally, metallic mess with subtle squash earthiness. Over spiced, big time.

Bruegala 2009 sampling - If you like a fizzy, spicy water drink, this is the brew for you. Pours a clear yellow-amber color with a very small head. Aroma is very light of hay and straw for the malt nose but a modest allspice, nutmeg and cinnamon note otherwise. Flavor of allspice, cinnamon and nutmeg is overpowering when combined with the very light density of this beer. It really creates a spices water feeling and with the lower low/med carbonation, it is really hard to get any body out of it. Overall a beer I didn’t care for one bit.

Bottle Pours a clear amber orange with a thin whiteish head. The head leaves rapidly. Laces well. Aroma is of spices and burndt pumpkin. Has a light carbonation. The flavor is okay at best. This almost seems forced to be pumpkin. Has a light body and a watery texture. The finish is okay and the aftertaste is alright. Not awful but seems pushed on you.

Bottle from 3 Sons. Nice beer but not remarkable for spices, appearance or background flavor. Dark gold no head orlacing no prominant spice odors, well balanced but not the best of style.

12oz bottle served in a shaker pint glass. Poured a clear reddish gold with a finger of white head. Fairly subdued nose of typical pumpkin pie spices (cinnamon, allspice, ginger) Medium bodied with a decent amount of malt. More of the pumpkin pie spices in the flavor, also a fair amount of hops that show up in the finish. Solid pumpkin beer, maybe a bit restrained.
