Spicy and sweet. Medium dull amber clear with mild haze but no head. Medium watery body with medium light carbonation. Starts pretty sweet with some caramel and brown sugar. Nice pumpkin pie taste with cinammon and ginger, cloves, and pumpkin sweetness. Light hoppy bitterness in the finish with light sweet and spicy after. Rciesla (3700), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

Sweet malty pumpkin spice cinnamon and all spice. Heavy spiced pumpkin pie with an incense linger. Cinnamon sugar very drinkable. NobleSquirrel (1114), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 28, 2008 Bottle on Thanksgiving. This has a very subdued spice about it and stronger in the fruity/pumpkin department. Nose is sweet. Taste is a muted sort of pumpkin thing, okay body but the balance is not really there and the beer itself wavers between spicy and flavorless. I guess I just don’t get it... esjaygee (1531), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 2, 2008 Ichabod tossed his pumpkin head into the batch of beer as the aroma is pumpkin heavy with some nutmeg and spice and the color is along the lines of pumpkin too. Perhaps he didn’t toss his head into my beer since no head was apparent, lol. Tastes of pumpkin, spice and not much else. Drinkable, but a little bland. Kinz (2207), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 1, 2008 Deep golden color, thin head. Aroma is nicely muted nutmeg. Flavor is slightly biscuit oriented malts and nutmeg playing in the background in a role typically handled by hops. In no way over the top, in fact, quite drinkable other than the carbonic bite. I’m not a big pumpkin beer fan, but it was Halloween, so it seemed appropriate, and this was better than expected. tdaglow (41), Minnesota, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Oct 31, 2008 Nice cinnamon and slight clove aroma. Appearance is red/orange with a quickly dissipating thin white head. The flavor is pretty much the same as the aroma with a slight hop finish. Pretty good for the season.
