Blond color, big head. It has a delicate aroma of cinnamon cookies. Smooth mouthfeel, with a quite evident cookie and cinnamon flavor. I don’t understand where the pumpkin is, and I just reject the concept of Halloween beers.

Nov 29, 2006 12oz bottle. Poured a medium amber color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of pumpkins and spices (I’m getting cinnamon, nutmeg and some others in there). I liked the way pumpkin was done in the aroma. Tastes of very light pumpkin and very light spices. The tastes were a major let down compared to the aroma. Thin and watery body.

Dec 12, 2009 12oz bottle-pours a thin rich off white head and gold color. Aroma is herbal, light malt, some musty. Taste is light/medium malt, herbal/spice hops.

Apr 30, 2005 Bottle... Crystal clear, light amber ale. No lasting head. Spicy, breadsy, floral aroma with a hint of candied ginger. Good balance... lightly sweet, but fairly well-bittered. Pumpkin and spice is evident, but subtle, not cloying. Medium-bodied and watery... a little too thin. Fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish. Not at all shabby, but not a style I’m really into. I’ve only run into a few pumpkin ales I’ve thoroughly enjoyed. Hey, it’s beer... that’s a big plus!

Nov 3, 2005 Thanks to JTW for this sample. Pours copper with a thin white head. Aromas of spices immediately pop out with some underlying pumpkin. Taste is nice and hoppy with some citrus notes and a touch of spice, but lacking in pumpkin flavor. Good for an IPA maybe, but not for a pumpkin ale.
