Commercial Description:
A robust renovation of the India Pale Ale. Assertive dry-hoppying provides an aromatic telltale nose, indicative of the bitter symphony to follow. Bold hop character with lively grapefruit and citrus notes. 20° Plato, Alc. 9.4% by Vol.

A very nice double IPA, but somehow forgettable. Tasted very similar to Dogfish 90. Nice body, lacing, flavor, and aroma. Very enjoyable, but yet no distinctness to make it stand our from the crowd. Really good beer and well balanced for a double.

$8.99 / 22oz bomber- Aroma is all hops with floral, grass, and citrus--not hugely delightful. Nice-lasting seafoam, white top. Where the Hatter let me down was in the taste department. I think the best IPAs have a decent malt presence along with the traditional heavy hops you would expect. It is a nice imperial that hides a nice ABV punch, but not one of my favoirte imperial IPAs.

Bottle. Pours an orange amber body with an off white head. Fresh hop tones with grapefruit, pine, with a hoppy bitter citrus and pine. A modest bread y fruit character amongst the etoh warming. A big dipa good brew.

Amber color with a white head and sticky lacing. Nose full of hops and grapefruit juice. Full flavored DIPA with apple sauce, candied grapefruit, and some pine in the finish. Some honey sweetness, bready malts, and more and more alcohol as it warms. Nice, easy drinking DIPA.

Cloudy orange with a medium off white head. Sweet aroma with grapefruits, hops and piney notes. Flavour had peach, pine and hoppy notes. Finished bitter.

Bottle: Poured a slightly hazy dirty orangey color ale with a small foamy head with OK retention and no lacing. Aroma of sweet malt base with light floral hops. Taste is too sweet for the style with some floral hops though not as much as expected. Body is above average with medium carbonation and no apparent alcohol. I found that this was way too sweet for the style and not enough hops presence – bottle has been kept in fridge since I received it though I wonder if this was maybe a bit too aged.

Mildly hazed amber with a large pillowy beige frothy lace maker of a head. Aroma of citrus, dough, light pine, caramel, grapefruit and sticky hops. Taste of alcohol, sticky resinous west coast hops, tasty malt, pine, orange and fruit. Mostly balanced with a little semi-candied sweetness. Finishes up moderately bitter with some alcohol bite back. Overall, a pretty good brew.
