| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 22, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a light copper and the nose is a bit funky. Flavor is somewhat perfumey and flowery, with just a hint of citrus. Not that impressed with this one, expected more of a hop presence.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 1, 2009 Amber with a long-lived foamy white head. Aroma is citrus and pine with sweet floral aspects. Taste is unexpectedly dry, and thin with little malt character or bitterness. Closer to an APA than an IPA, and not stellar for either. $2/12oz Pwn3d (1086), Manhattan, New York, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 26, 2009 Pours a fluffy white head with a nice coppery body. Citrusy hops all over the aroma. Then the taste is pretty fruity... not hop overkill, but there is most definitely a lot of hop bitterness in the finish. And that bitterness lingers for quite some time, but not in a really bad way, like some hop slaughter beers do. Good amounts of carbonation and the body feels good going down the mouth. Anyway, let’s give thanks on this day of thanks for IPAs, ironically enough America’s beer. deyholla (715), Bloomington, Indiana, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 21, 2009 THOUGHTS: Wow, that was a lot of hops and without any balance I didn’t really enjoy it all that much. The hop flavor was very complex, so it was at least interesting if not entirely enjoyable. For being dry hopped, I thought it was odd that the hop flavor was more intense than the aroma.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a medium orangey amber with a small to average, off-white head that mostly diminished and left good lacing. The aroma was very light, caramel malt; moderate to heavy grapefruit, orange, and mint hops; a little less pine hops; and slightly pissy hops. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and rather bitter; while the finish was very bitter and lightly acidic with a fairly long duration. There was slight caramel malt, citrus )orange lemon, lime, grapefruit) hops, pine and some resin as well, along with the rind of all the citrus fruit mentioned above. The light to medium body that leaned toward medium was a little watery and then rather dry with tingly carbonation and a metallic and dry finish.
