A cool night. Time to finally open it. Pours without any head (reminds me of Expedition). But there is lots of coffee and roasty taste here. Very nice overall. Balanced. Rich. I get that burnt sugar taste someone else here notes. Nice. Theis (3771), Denmark

Dark and thick with a modest and pretty tan head. A seriously burly impy stout. Lovely roasty flavor, caramel drizzled over dark chocolate cake, fennel, thai coffee, smooth creamy mouthfeel. Bloody nice beer. TheEpeeist (1480), Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours a nice black with a medium tan head. Smell is chocolatey, and lightly roasty, with some creamy marshmallow and peanut buttery notes. Nice. Taste is rich and chocolatey with some roasty bitterness. Creamy body and very light carbonation. Nice bitter dark chocolate aftertaste. Very light bit of alcohol flavor but no burn. Very solid and enjoyable Imperial Stout. juiceisloose (671), Windermere, Florida, USA

Pours a dark brown with mahogany at the edges with a small, foamy tan head. There is spotty lacing left behind. The aroma is full of dark chocolate, caramel, dark fruits, and a hint of alcohol. The flavor follow susit with the chocolate and caramel up front with a good amount of dark fruit pushing its way through as well. Chocolate covered cherries comes to mind with the flavor. Medium bodied and very smooth and creamy in the mouthfeel which leads to a nice easy drinking brew. The finish was of sweet chocolate with some alcohol warmth. This isn’t very complex at all, but it is still an enjoyable stout.
