Commercial Description:
Night Tripper is an Imperial Stout brewed for a Fat Tuesday release. Dark, mysterious and poetic, Night Tripper's abundance of roasted malts, combined with flaked barley create a rich, roasty beer with deeply intense and lush flavors. Night Tripper's layered, nuanced tones invite intrigue and reward a curious palate.

bottle courtesy of flandersned. great stuff, pours black and brown, nice lacing. the smell and flavor are both very well balanced, tons of chocolate, smoke, roast, licorice, hints of chicory and molasses. palate is very full, creamy and rich. damn good offering, i would love to have a couple more bottles of this stuff!

Pours like charred black coffee with a beautiful khaki head. Nose was great with vanilla and cocoa powder. Taste was silky milk chocolate, not a bitter chocolate like i taste in 99% of stouts, very smooth, with a delicious marshmallow finish.

Bottle from Jimbo. Pours a very viscous black liquid that coats the glass. No aroma. Low carbonation. Flavor is pure, unforgiving malt and booze. I’m surprised this is 10.8%, because it seemed more like 16%. I thought this was pretty fkn nasty.

22oz bottle 10/17/09 (Binny’s Naperville)-Pours black with a small tan ring for a head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee. Taste of the same with more chocolate and a bit of alcohol and licorice. This full bodied brew is probably the best beer I have had from New Holland. Well balanced and tasty.

Very dark roasted aroma, almost charcoal-y. Nice, rich roasted flavor, notes of chocolate with a hint of licorice on the finish. Pretty solid impy stout.

Rich, roasted malt aroma and taste. Completely dark, with medium head. Alcohol very well hidden

Welcome New Holland! This is my first New Holland beer and might be the only one I need to concern myself with. Wow! Well executed imperial stout. This beer made me think about imperial stouts in general: if a bewery makes an imperial stout, it is generally their best rated beer--right? Just check it out. Imperial stouts have become the official test of any well-respected bewery.

Very nice, had it a million times and everytime I get caught by the surprise of its smooth taste. Warming to the thraota a nice carmel malty with chocolate woody taste. Very Nice indeed
