Only a smattering of head from a pretty vigorous pour. Minimal carbnation. Rich chocolaty aroma with lots of roasted grains, malted milk balls, mild coffee and some sweet cherry cordial. Color is a very dark brown bordering on black. Velvety smooth in the mouth. Goes down super easy with a strong alcohol presence and warming that stings the gums and tongue. Loads of strong roasted malts, mild coffee and maybe a touch of anise. Medium bodied for an imperial stout but just super smooth and creamy in the mouth. I am very much enjoying this brew. Finishes a tad alcoholic with lingering sweet chewy malts. A very good imperial stout.

Bottled. Dark color, short brown head. Aroma of dark chocolat, roasted malt. Apart from the chocolat and the malt, slight alcohol in taste, but it fits the beer nicely. Quite likeable.

Bottled. Aroma is quite straight forward, dark and chocolate. Black coloured with a thin, beige lace. The taste is sweet with lots of dark fruits and chocolate. Bit on the sticky site. Enjoyable.

Very dark brown pour with a 1-finger, tan head that quickly fades to a thin layer. The aroma is equal parts dark fruit, coffee, and chocolate with some slight vinous quality and a fair dose of hop pinyness. Very well hopped flavor with coffee, chocolate, cereal, and dark fruit notes. There’s a "house" character to the yeast component of the flavor. The body is creamy and smooth but a touch thin for an imperial stout.
