#800. Orange color with little head. General hoppy aroma. Pretty plain taste of hops and malt while being slightly bitter. Some floral. A solid Pale, but not special.

Apr 12, 2008 I was pleasantly surprised with this one! Foggy tan color with a thick head, lots of lace and a nice sweet hoppy aroma. Mildly sweet and hoppy with a pleasant bitter mouthfeel. Not too bitter, blended very well with the rest of the flavor. Finish is hoppy, slightly bitter and dry. A great Pale Ale!

Oct 24, 2007 12oz bottle. Aroma: Sweet caramel, bready malt, chocolate, citrus, and light spicy hops. Appearance: Amber in color and lightly hazed. Light bone head was full and frothy with good retention. Nice lacing. Flavor: Sweet maltiness with notes of caramel, chocolate, bread dough. Light hop levels for an APA. Citrus, spice, light earthiness. Moderate bitterness. Palate: Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Overall: I was surprised by the maltiness of this one. The chocolate flavor really jumped out some times. Some light oxidation was coming through as well.

Jun 23, 2007 Citrus, chacolate, and mild hops aroma. Golden pale with thin head. Full body with notes of chacolate...well balanced. Smooth with a mild bitter finish.

Jun 5, 2007 Pale yellow pour. Foamy off-white head. Nice lace. Light floral aroma, with a slight hint of warm bread. Slight bitterness in taste and finish. O.K taste. I keep looking for something else based on the higher ratings, but I’m not finding it.

5/19/2007: New Holland Paleooza is clear and light copper in color with a thin, offi-white head that leaves squiggly lacing lines around the glass. The visible carbonation seems to be mild. The aroma has floral hops, toasted malt, and toffee. The flavor is very toasty and nutty with a mild floral and citrusy bitterness. Medium body and quite smooth. A very nice pale ale!
