| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 11, 2009 22oz Bottle.A clear amber/orange color pour with a medium off white head,some spotty lacing. Maltyt aroma,sweet bread dough,vanilla,rasins,apples,and pepper.Flavor of brown sugar,cask wood,butter,peaches,honey and alcohol.Full body,thick creamy mouthfeel,soft carbonation,sharp alcohol finish. I think the whaet exposes the flavor and aroma of the alcohol,but in a good way.
Drinkable and good, but slightly overpriced for me and what it is. Headbanger (1598), Aurora, Illinois, USA

Aroma of sweetness, caramel, yeast, fruits, and raisinns. Taste of the same with the alcohol being very prominent in the taste along with a little bit of oak. This full bodied brew is not bad but a bit too hot turns me off a bit. Rciesla (3790), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 29, 2008 Bottle. Pours an amber body with an off white head. Sweet caramel, alcohol latent banana, citrus, and plum. A dry bittering hoppy finish. okay. BeerBunker (616), Burbank, Illinois, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 19, 2008 Pours a murky brown with a beige head. Aroma is of wheat, caramel, vanilla, bananas, and malt. Taste was very earthy, with wheat, hops, some lemon zest, sugar, and bananas, all with a caramel malt backbone. Strong alcohol presence makes this one bitter to the taste. Not something Id drink again, but worth a try. moelikebeer (220), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 16, 2008 Bottle. Clear, brownish amber pour with no head. Sweet, sugary aroma of vanilla, raisin and hops. Similar flavor with a somewhat hot finish. ceffalo (38), , Texas, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Dec 7, 2008 Pours a deep bronze color. Thick head which dissipates quickly. Very wheaty aroma. Like a Belgian ale.
Flavor is interesting. Vanilla on caramel. Little bitterness, almost unnoticeable. Smooth and lingering palate.
This is better than I expected. willblake (2187), Belcamp, Maryland, USA

Thin bodied, earthy, sharp, like a super hot ESB with butterscotch and some green beans. Gross. In retrospect, it is a shame this one had the dubious distinction of being served after BAON and FFF Behemoth. Too bad. Based on recent ratings, maybe they changed the recipe for the latest batches.
