Commercial Description:
Ah, spring. It's the season that breathes new life into our beautiful landscape and puts a hop in our step. It has also inspired artists of all mediums for centuries.

One such artist was Lida Rogers, a schoolteacher in our hometown more than 75 years ago. Caught up in spring fever, Lida proposed planting tulips throughout the city in celebration of Holland's heritage. Her inspiration bloomed into a living work of art: Tulip Time. Today, Tulip Time is a world-class festival showcasing the Holland community as six million tulips blossom into an incredible homage to spring. Red Tulip Ale is a salute to the tulip, spring, and of course our dear Lida. A smooth and malty red ale, Red Tulip evokes spring's renewing spirit.

Just an average brew. The pour is a reddish color, with okay white head. The nose while not very strong had hints of sweetness to it. The flavor was average and nothing more. An average brew.

the reddish hue and amber quality with malty after-taste add to the quality of this brew. has a metallic aftertaste, which is not expected,

Bottle. Pours red, slightly brown, with a large and creamy tan head. Looks wonderful! Toasted malts, hops, and slight floral in the nose. Tastes nutty, VERY slightly metallic, and has a creamy mouthfeel. This beer improves as it warms.

Pretty reddish amber with offwhite head. Aromas of raspberries, cherries, toasted grain, and some herbal tea-like hops in the background-- really nice! Flavor is malt-forward toasty grain with some hops bitterness underneath and a mild sour twang throughout. Watery on the palate-- this thing just falls apart after the initial inviting aromas. An easy drinker, but a bit of a disappointment as I can imagine it being so much more....

Rosy read with fluffy head. A bit hop in a floral way. Swee and malty. Nice but a bit flat. Could use a little more punch. Finishes with a nuty flavor.

Pour is ruby red and lightly hazed with a thin tan head...smell is lightly toasty and sweet...taste is sweet and the mouthfeel is then....a light grainy and faintly bitter character come out in the finish...
