clear amber, frothy beige head, drippy lace,
caramel aroma with light sweetness and a musty earthyness,
lots of bitter flavor, dry caramel tries to balance the bitterness, bitterness comes early and stays late,

A hazy bright amber appearance, foamy, bubbly topped white head, good retention, small amount of ringed laced sticking.
Light and pleasant smelling, toasted caramel and grainy, flowery citric hops.
Firm medium body, malty crisp and dry finishing. Nice toasted caramel grainy taste, smooth and buttery. The fuggles hops start out citric fruity tasting, then at the end, becoming earthy and spicy.
I like the balance in this amber ale from New Holland, a good mix of toasted malts and fuggles hops. I would like to try this fresh from the tap sometime, another reason for a fall Michigan trip. blankboy (3251), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Pours a clear copper-amber with an average size diminishing white head. Aroma of caramel malt, a light sourness, some grain and light hops. Sweet, watery, malty flavour with a light bitter finish. Average bodied. I’m not crazy about Ambers to start with but this even more boring then usual. HogTownHarry (4025), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada

Orange-amber, smallish white head, slightly cloudy. Sweet caramel/orange juice malt aroma, mild generic hop bitterness. Same in taste - slightly harsh bitter aftertaste. Watery, sticky, sweet, ehhhh. rowefam3 (70), kendallville, Indiana, USA

The smell was kind of weak, as was the taste. Obviously a summer beer, but it could be amped up a bit to make it taste a little more non-macro. BDR (2169), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
