Aroma is a very nice full malt. Nutty and bready. A slight sourness and sweet mild, roasted malt. Cleen sour flavor and a nutty flavor and feel. Seems pretty clean and organized. A little bit of sweet hop bitterness round our a full flavor and very full finish. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 9, 2005 Pours amber of course I’m not sure why I even need to state that. A nice fluffy medium offhwhite head settles down and dissipates. Aroma was caramel malts and mild hops. Flavor was caramel with a touch of bitter on the back. On the palate it is medium bodied and sits well in the mouth. A very simple brew that surprised me a little with it’s smooth taste. Tmoney99 (4786), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Aroma and flavor was good balance of malt and hops with medium caramelly finish. Only second beer from this brewery, but this makes me want to try others. jewedekind (450), Middleton, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 18, 2005 Bottle. Pours a full white head, with bodacious lacing. Nice toast and caramel aroma. Taste is biscuits and honey, slightly toasted malt lingers then passes. Reserved hops (thank you!). Damn good. steview (902), Los Angeles, California, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 6, 2005 Decent - but nothing to write home about. I had it a few days ago and don’t remember too much about it which is not a good sign - if it had been great, it would have stuck in my mind. LilKem (1210), Marietta, Ohio, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 5, 2005 12oz bottle, no date found. Color is amber. decent head initially, falls down and no lacing on my glass...smells of malts...bread, biscuits, toast...and some spicy peachiness that is very slight. Its a pretty good gulper...I get peach and honey as highlights...but mostly its malty. Sweetness is there, along with some spice from the hops...seems to finish sweet and then there is a lingering bitterness. Overall, I do get a fair amount of fruity/honey nuance to this...and its bitter enough to reach some balance...a nice amber, but a style which I just don’t appreciate all that much. Its a chugging ale.
