Commercial Description:
Sundog is an ale whose amber color is as deep as the copper glow of a Lake Michigan sunset. Its Biscuit malt and Fuggle hops give it a toasty character and a subtle, malty sweetness. We believe Sundog is the deepest, richest amber you'll find anywhere.

Not too much to say-it’s an amber ale. Nice sesh beer, sweet and biscuty. Hops not too citrusy. Which is nice.

Bottle. Small off-white that mostly diminished, fair lacing, fine-medium sized bubbles, carbonated, transparent, and a golden orange hue. The aroma was malty, sweet and lightly hoppy. The flavor was sweet, malty, caramel and notes of hops. Tingly mouthfeel. Light-medium body. Nothing outstanding, but quaffable.

(bottle) Clear amber body topped by large beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, bread, caramel, some spice. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, bread, light earthy. Smooth light-medium body. Decent enough amber, but nothing special.

Bottled. Orange and cloudy. Sweets aroma; banana(?). A lot of co2. A bit nutty flavour and a lot of late Fuggles.

Amber body under an off-white head. The aroma is earthy, herbal, malty. Medium body, weak carbonation. The flavor was just plain ordinary. No character.

An easy drinkin’ amber ale that starts out with some caramel and bread, malty, then finishes with a mild hop presence.

On tap: Light citrus aroma. Transparent amber with small white head. Great lacing. Very sweet. Lots of citrus in finish and light bitterness.
