| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 29, 2008 My 500th is something more sentimentally special than rare or exciting. I remember I was up in Grand Rapids for spring break with my girlfriend my senior year of college and I picked this one up at a grocery store. We sat around and drank the sixer on the floor of her dad’s living room, watching an old movie. It’s really a wonderful sweet stout, with a nice big nose and a flavor with a great balance of coffee, cola, licorice and dark chocolate. TheEpeeist (1473), Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA

Smells strongly of smokey roasted malts
A well balanced taste that starts with roasted malts and ends with a hint of chocolate and coffee
Really a nice oatmeal stout and would recommend to give this one a try.
