| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 31, 2008 Bottle. Poured a black color with a very nice tan head. Strong coffee, chocolate, and roasty malt aromas. The beer had a medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, and an abrupt finish. The flavor had a medium sweetness with the same flavors as the aroma. I am becoming more and more a fan of dark beers and this one just adds to the list of good dark beers. I was very impressed with easy it went down. I would definately drink this again and recommend it to others. taalhiker (179), Dayton, Ohio, USA
