Nov 14, 2006 Dark brown body with a small tan head that quickly fades. The aroma is roasted coffee, dark chocolate and molases. The flavor is roast, slightly burnt, light chocolate and brown sugar. Medium body with a slightly thin and watery texture.

Nov 6, 2006 Updated: Sep 8, 2007Thick black color, with a brown, disappearing head. Apparently New Holland has ingratiated itself with an entirely uninspiring brand of poetry. Bland aromas and flavors characterized by old coffee grounds and bitter dark chocolate, a bit. Just dull, and slightly soapy and astringent. Gritty, ugly.

Nov 5, 2006 Bottle. Solid black color with a laced brown head. A nice and strong roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and light fruit (sour) aroma. Rich coating malts with a long chocolate finish. Initially sweet, finishs dry, with milk chocolate.

Oct 26, 2006 pours black and muddy, creamy brown head. Aroma is heavyly malted, cookies, toasted chocolate. Flavor is well balanced great example of style, finishes lightly bitter with toasted malts. Meduim to full bodied oily and creamy softly carbonated. Overall very nice, cant wait to try it on tap.
