Commercial Description:
This stout is sheer beer poetry. Let it warm to about 45 F and pour it into a glass to fully experience its rich, roasty flavors and hints of coffee and chocolate. One glass and you'll agree: The Poet is truly a rich, creamy brew of epic proportions.

Murky brown with a tan head that quickly fades away. Roasted malt, coffee and chocolate aroma. Roasted malt dominates the taste with notes of coffee followed by a lonf dry chocolate finish. Chewy body.

Pours a very dark brown color with medium tan head. Aroma is strong of chocolate with hints of coffee and caramel. Flavor is the same with a nice sweet, malty finish. Also has a nice flavor of roasted malts to blend well with the other flavors. A good stout.

Below average for what I expect from a stout. It does have a nice flavor, but is a bit too spritzy.

Pours dark black brown with tan head that fades quickly. Aroma of sticky molasses... chocolate and nuts. Flavor is watery, thin body, but has a nice dark chocolate element... bitter coffee finish.

Beer pour dark brown color with a totally retained tan colored head. Aroma is really nice. Notes of milk chocolate, nuts, smoke, and way down deep roasted coffee. Flavor is nice as well, initially sweet, then finishes with a bitter, dark chocolate bitter finish.

Poured black with brown head. Aroma filled with roasted malts, smoke and chhocolate. Flavor is malty sweet with notes of chocolate and caramel. Underneath are notes of peat and smoke. The finish is bitter. Smooth on the palate with slight carbnation. Medium body.
