| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 13, 2009 Poured to a hazy light yellow with little head or lacing. Aroma was faintly spices and wheat, but I had to work hard to get that. Mouthfeel was a little on the thin side, though I did notice a slight tingle. Taste was more of the muted spice of the nose, and the finish was short and non-descript.
Not much to this one jimmack34 (570), Lancaster, Ohio, USA

Smelled of wheat and some spice. Tasted of slightly stale wheat, clove, coriander, and stagnant water. Mild spice and yeast flavor. Needs more citrus flavor to mask the bad water flavor. wcampbell (582), Central, South Carolina, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 24, 2009 Definitely not a witbier, but a pretty easy drinking wheat ale. Flavor is all wheat, with only a hint of anything else. Not really any spice at all. Lightly sweet taste of wheat.. Light bodied and on the watery side. Very boring beer, but refreshing. Subtle aroma of wheat. skoll (136), Traverse City, Michigan, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 12, 2009 Hazy straw color w/ an average sized white head and some lacing. Smells of good spice, also hoppy with a little bit of wheat and yeast. Palate is citrus, a good amount of carbonation and an ok mouth feel. Flavor is wheaty with a hint of spice and yeast and a touch of lemon rind. I got one of the last 6 packs at the Blue Goat. I had it with a great big Salmon filet with dill and lemon…a perfect match. Flavor is a bit off, really fakely sweet and citrus. I wouldn’t really call this a wit. I wouldnt have this again. Rciesla (3790), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 20, 2008 12 oz. bottle from the Binny’s single rack (Orland Park, IL). Poured a largely golden lively hue, slightly hazed, with minimal white head that, whatever was left, dissipates quickly. Aromas are typical wit, a bit lighter: Citrusy aromas coupled with wheat malts, light but there. Taste was dissipointing, perhaps an old bottle. Who know with the singles rack... bitter with notes of citrus, light, not a real dominant malt profile. I’ve had bad luck with New Holland’s bottled brews. Re-rate pending.
