| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 30, 2008 Citrus hops in the aroma. A touch of pine and floral hops as well interspersed with some caramel malts and a light buttery notes. Copper color with a great head and lasting. Dry bitter hops are very citrus and a touch perfumey. Some caramel malts and a little butter, but not to the point that it detracts too much from the brew. Long dry finish. boFNjackson (1321), Portland, Oregon, USA

Aroma was hoppy with a little yeast-like malt grains. Dry palate with hops up front. The bitterness was a nice kick that’s certainly welcomed for the cold months. It finished hoppy with spicy citrus notes. stchloe (491), Portland, Oregon, USA

Medium body and carbonation. Aroma of Xmas spice. Flavor of roasted malt, decent hop. Finish is well balanced, spicy, malty, hoppy. Could be a trace of ginger. Very nice. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 18, 2007 Enjoyed recently at Hedge House in Portland, OR--An amped up version of the C-Note. A copper-amber-orange body with a nice white head. Nose of big piny, grapfruity floral hops. Spicy and backed with a decent malt bill. Finished caramelly and bitter. I like IPAs so this was very enjoyable. DrunkenWeasel (218), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 21, 2006 Pours deep amber with a medium white head. Smells strongly of pine and flowers. Taste is overwhelmingly hoppy, in a good way. Strong pine and flower tastes with a hint of caramel malt that becomes more prominent as the aftertaste kicks in. Damn good.
