harrisoni (4725), Ashford, Kent, Kent, England Oct 30, 2006 On tap at New Old Lompoc, NW Portland. Hazy copper with off white head. Creamy IPA. Creamy in mouth, lots of hop. Smooth hop aroma, smooth, creamy in mouth, hoppy on end. Just a bit artificial on the malts. Great hop, rest of it is not good. CaptKirk (175), Hephzibah, Georgia, USA Oct 20, 2005 Keep in mind that I don’t favor IPAs, but I really liked this on. Nice amber color with very little bitterness in the end. Almost kinda sweet (unusual for an IPA). Has a nice citrus smell that made me want to have more. DA (2248), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA Feb 7, 2005 On tap this brew pours a medium amber with a white head that lasts for a while. This could have been a really nice IPA, but there was a lot of diacetyl that made it overly sweet and buttery. Citrus hops in the nose and in the finish. The bitterness balanced out a lot of the sweetness, but way too much butterscotch taste from the diacetyl ended up getting to me by the end of the pint. I’ll have to try this at the Lompoc to see if i can get a better sample. motelpogo (4086), Plzen, Czech Republic Nov 8, 2004 on tap at the brewpub. standard but tasty ipa. quite sweet - some melon and lychee juice, again quite piney, faint vanilla, nice stuff Humulone_Red (743), Austin, Texas, USA Aug 8, 2004 Clear orange color with a thin head and some lacing. Stong pine and earthy nose. Slighty astringent hop charater with a woodsydrfinish
