porterdude (170), Bellingham, Washington, USA Jul 20, 2005 At the brewery. Pours a super hazy yellow color. A very sweet, slightly citrusy aroma. I really did not detect any adjunct aroma or flavor. Tasted like a lot of citrus and lemon with a good malt backbone. acrdz (4089), Pennsylvania, USA Aug 12, 2004 Slightly murky yellow. Light lemon nose, not much there. Light body, cola-like, some unappealing vanilla and a light grain flavor. Feels like it gives you a headache... tastes like adjuncts. Humulone_Red (743), Austin, Texas, USA Aug 8, 2004 Clear yellow color with good head and some lacing. Smooth and lighly malty but thin in body with a watery finish. Volgon (2458), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Aug 3, 2004 RBSG 2004, on tap at the brewpub: Hazy gold with a thin white head, grapefruit and hay in the aroma, soft carbonation, lemony taste. beerguy101 (3408), Newark, California, USA Aug 1, 2004 Medium gold color. Small head. Aroma is fairly sweet, touch of corn and rice. A medium bodied golden ale. Malts are mild and sweet. Hops are very slightly bitter. Brewed with rice (as a ‘salute’ to macros). Nicely balanced, but it has that bud taste to it. Nice but…. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
