cathcacr (513), Portland, Oregon, USA Oct 6, 2007 On draft from the Oaks Bottom Public House in SE Portland (Sellwood dist.). LSD, as it was called there. Very ESBy but with a considerably stronger/more intense flavor profile than usual for the style. Quite sweet. thedm (3406), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Aug 4, 2007 This draft brew from the brew pub poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized light brown colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a opaque no visible carbonation black colored body. The strong stout-like aroma was brown malt and dark malt. The mouth feel was smooth at the start and mediumly tingly at the finish hoppy aftertaste. The stout-like flavor contained notes of hops roasted malt and dark malt. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again. Angeloregon (1867), Portland, Oregon, USA Dec 18, 2007 AKA the LSD--"You don’t have to be a hippie to love LSD" is the slogan of Lompoc’s Strong Draft (LSD). This all-year beer has the kick of a winter beer. With a deep chestnut body and a nice fluffy off-white head and great lacing, this beer possesses a big malty nose. Balanced out by a perfect amount of bittering hops. This one is chocolaty with hints of dark fruits and mild grapefruits. A bit boozy in the finish. All around quite good! unclemattie (1568), Georgia, USA Aug 12, 2006 LSD for short. Had this at Lompoc, Portland. dark brown in color, thin white head. heavy malt aroma. Caramel, molasses, maybe raisins. Very nice hop finish. Although a bit dry, Balances nice. Reminds me of Arrogant. duff (5404), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Jun 8, 2004 Tap@New Old lompoc.
